PEC's Light The Way Honors Kyle FireThe Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) honored the Kyle Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) with its "Light The Way" program (http://www.pec.coop/Services/LightTheWay.aspx). The program, which is funded by the PEC employees, recognizes and supports area organizations, including fire departments, that serve PEC members. PEC employees Tracy Hernandez and Freddie Hernandez, no relation, presented a certificate (link) that recognized and honored the KVFD for our service to the community. Accompanying the certificate was a $1000 donation from PEC employees. The fish fry is taking place at Station 2, 150 Bunton Creek Rd (map). Join us for all-you-can-eat catfish along with sides of beans, coleslaw, french fries, and hushpuppies. Our own Ladies Auxiliary is baking sweet goodies for you to buy and enjoy after filling up with catfish. Today, fire departments across the country, including Kyle Fire, support the MDA.
